National Smile Month

We have celebrated Oral Health by taking part in the

National Smile campaign.

1 in 4 children in Derby have had tooth decay by the age of 5

Tooth decay can lead to toothache, difficulty eating, and sleeping and serious infections.

The Oral Health Foundation highlights 3 key messages, all of which contribute towards developing and maintaining a healthy mouth…

*Brush your teeth using a fluoride toothpaste – at least twice a day

*Cut down on sugary food and drink

*Visit your dentist regularly and follow their advice

This is part of how we are helping to create a healthier and happier world.
